The Keurig K-Duo (5100) is a new innovative coffee maker which combines the best of K-Cups and ground coffee. This machine allows you to brew either a single cup from K-Cup pods, or you can brew an entire carafe using your own ground coffee and paper coffee filters. Keurig K-Duo vs. K-Duo Essentials Brewer Differences
The difference between the Keurig K-Duo (5100) brewer and the K-Duo Essentials (5000) model is that Essentials coffee maker does not brew dripped coffee. Also, the K-Duo brews an extra 6 ounce cup size, whereas the Essentials version only brews 8, 10 & 12 ounce cups. Finally, the K-Duo has a High Altitude Setting, whereas the K-Duo Essentials does not.
Keurig K-Duo vs. K-Duo Special Edition Brewer Differences
The difference between the Keurig K-Duo and the K-Duo Special Edition brewers is that the Special Edition is Silver color while the K-Dup is black. Additionally, the KDuo Special Edition coffee machine has a metallic handle on its glass carafe.
