Best Keurig Coffee Brewers For Office Use

With so many different Keurig brewers out there, you’re probably wondering:

Which Keurig coffee machine is the best for office use at your workplace?

Businesses and offices take note: the question of which brewer is right for your workplace is an important consideration. There are a lot of different Keurig coffee makers out there, but not all brewers are meant to be used in business offices or the workplace. I spent countless hours researching the various models of Keurig brewers out there, especially the Keurig commercial brewers.

Below I’ll share the highlights of my research, weigh the pros and cons, and present to you my recommendations for the top 5 best Keurig brewers for office use.

Here are the best Keurig brewers for your office or commercial workplace:

1. Keurig K155 / B155 OfficePro Premier Commercial Coffee Brewer

The K155 (also referred to as the B155) is a classic. It’s one of Keurig’s first commercial models, and it’s stood the test of time. You’ve probably seen many of these in car dealerships, doctor’s offices, and other workplace environments. The reason the K155 model is still being manufactured is a testament to its build quality, materials, and its impressive features.

For brew sizes, you have 4 choices: a 4, 6, 8, and 10 ounce cup. If you like a big tall coffee like me, you might be a little disappointed here, and there are some other machines I’ll talk about below that offer some bigger brew volumes. However, I have noticed that going over 12 ounces in a brew size typically only dilutes the flavor of the coffee, so that might not be a bad thing. But since we are talking about offices here, your employees might want to be able to fill up their travel mugs or thermos and bring it back to their desk, without having to brew two K-Cups through the machine.

Let’s talk about the water reservoir. The Keurig K155 / B155 has a pretty large sized water tank, and can brew somewhere around 10 cups of coffee before having to refill the reservoir with more water. While this might certainly be inconvenient in an office setting, you do have the option of connecting the K155 or B155 directly to a direct water line plumb kit. This way you won’t have to fill up the water tank manually every time it runs out. If you are looking to buy a Keurig for office use, I would highly recommend purchasing the additional direct water line plumb kit.

The digital touchscreen is a wonderful touch, and in my experience not only is it pleasing to look at, but the display is easy to use and very responsive to your touch. Simply press your desired brew size and then click the big BREW button and you’re on your way to enjoying a tasty brew.

Overall, the K155/B155 brewer is a great choice. It’s solid, sturdy, and can stand the test of time. The build quality is fantastic, and much better than some of the cheaper alternatives.

This Keurig brewer model goes by many names, such as the K150, B150, K150P, and B150P. This might sound quite confusing at first, and probably leaves many people wondering what the differences, if any, are between these brewer models.

Here’s the answers to those questions:

Q: What is the difference between the Keurig K150 and B150?

A: The B150 was originally intended to be denoted “B” for business, and marketed towards the business channel, whereas the K150 was distributed into the home consumer market. Despite this, there are virtually no observable differences between the two apart from the different letters contained in the model number.

Q: What is the difference between the K150 and K150P, or B150 and B150P?

A: The “P” at the end of the model numbers K150P and B150P denotes a “plumbed” version of the brewer. It indicates that the brewer comes pre-installed with a Keurig Direct Water Line Plumb Kit.  The Plumb Kit allows you to easily connect your brewer to your office’s water supply, so that the water reservoir automatically fills with water after each brew, without the need for you to refill the water tank.
